Privacy & Data Governance Policy

Compliance with Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) standards • Updated 2026

1. Information We Collect

We collect relevant corporate and commercial data necessary to execute B2B transactions:

  • Corporate Identifiers: Enterprise name, registered tax ID (GSTIN/PAN), incorporation records.
  • Procurement Details: Machine requirements, target budgets, delivery locations, and technical spec sheets.
  • Transactional Records: Billing invoices, transaction hashes, wallet top-ups, and quotation negotiations.
  • Technical Telemetry: Device identifiers, IP addresses, audit trail logs, and browser cookies.

2. How Data is Utilized

We process collected information to maintain platform security, compute supplier trust scores, execute AI-assisted supplier-buyer matching, process automated GST invoices, and prevent marketplace fraud. We do not sell proprietary buyer leads or technical machinery drawings to third-party ad brokers.

3. Communication & Visibility

When a buyer submits an RFQ or commercial inquiry, relevant contact points (name, verified business phone, email) and procurement details are shared directly with the targeted or matched vendor to facilitate direct quotation and chat.

4. Security Infrastructure

All stored credentials, passwords, and sensitive KYC documents are encrypted using AES-256 standard encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 protocol in transit. Audit logs record every mutation request to detect unauthorized intrusion attempts.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Commercial transactional records and invoices are maintained in compliance with statutory financial audit retention windows. Non-transactional accounts can request permanent purging by contacting our Data Protection Officer at privacy@b2bportal.com.
